An Orange Erin wardrobe staple, the Kokeshi Jacket is one of those flexible garments that be can dressed-up, or for everyday casual wear.

Designed and handmade in Nottingham, England from vintage Indian Kantha quilt, each jacket is one of a kind. The art of Kantha is hand sewing at least two layers of saris with narrow running stitch to create this traditional quilt; adding to the unique nature and age of the quilts, small repairs or patches have been used retain the integrity of the original fabric.

By reusing this gorgeous fabric is a brilliantly sustainable way to avoid waste and landfill. Due to the age of the saris, some original marking may occur, this is not a defect and adds to the character of the garment.
